A New Way of Thinking

Okay all you parents out there that have ever attempted to potty train a child. I've decided that we've been looking at this all wrong. It's not really potty training..no, no, it's something far more fun and exciting. It's a guessing game where luck and chance rule. And the best part is that we get to play not for a half hour, or even an hour, but all day long! Here are the rules of the game:
1. Your child will not tell you when they need the potty (that would ruin all the fun!) so whenever you GUESS they need to go, you must run them to the potty and sit for a period of 5-10 minutes.
2. If you guessed correctly, (this occurs approx. 2% of the time) the child will use the potty and leave you with a feeling of great satisfaction as if you might really be accomplishing something. If you guessed incorrectly (as happens 98% of the time), repeat step one every 15 minutes or until you go insane.
3. Somehow, the child will manage to go in their training pants between the 3 million potty trips made daily.
4. clean them up and smile, because you love this game.
