Star Wars

Cody and I watched Star Wars Episode II Attack of the Clones last weekend. It wasn't very good. In reference to the actor that played Annakin, I like how the tv guide put it: "a performance so wooden it ranked right up there with Walt Disney's Pinocchio." He really was awful. Yoda got some screen time and a hillarious duel in the movie. He walks in slowly leaning on his cane. The nefarious villian Count Dooku starts attacking Yoday with some sort of lightening from his hands, and Yoda pushes it back at him. Then the Count makes various things fall toward Yoda with the intent of crushing him, but Yoda uses the Force to push them away or back at the Count. They both see this is going nowhere so they decide the only way to decide the battle is a light saber duel. At this point I am wondering how poor old Yoda can possibly survive..then suddenly with a flash the duel is on and Yoda is twilring and whirling all over the place as if the film had slipped into fast-motion. I'm not sure if laughter was the reaction they were going for- but that's what they got from me! I've also realied lately how Ava's sentence structures are very similar to Yoda's. (Something in my purse, there is.)
