I try not to take it for granted that I get the most wonderful experience of all each and every day: just being around my children. They find new ways of amazing me and cracking me up every day it seems. (And yes, new ways of frustrating me, but this is only about the cute stuff...)
Nate has learned to say "Mmmmmmm" when he takes a bite of food. When he does it, he looks at me with a huge smile and gleam in his eyes because he knows it delights me.
Ava has made a couple of funny statements lately in regard to bathroom humor...only one of which I feel I can share here. I heard her passing gas so I asked if she needed to run to the potty. She replied, "No, I'm just bubbling in my panties." She came up with that all on her own. In fact, we've never officially named the act of passing gas for Ava. I guess there are plenty of choices, some more crude than others. Actually, bubbling is a pretty good term for it. We might just stick with that.
