Deal or no deal
I watched this show tonight and enjoyed it alright. I could get tired of it really fast though, and so will the rest of America because they will show it every night like they did Who Wants to Be a Millionaire. Anyway, the lady took 407,000 dollars and in order to see if she "made a good deal" or not, her chosen case was opened to reveal either $75 or $2,000,000. Now, call me crazy, but I think she made a great deal no matter what was in her case. She came on a game show and was given 407,000 in less than an hour with no strings attached. So what if she gave up the 2 million in her case. She couldn't have known it and to risk it all would have been stupid. Give me almost half a million any day and I'll call it a good deal. By the way, her case had $75 in it which makes her winnings that much sweeter. But they were already sweet.

Becky, Sammy & I went on a date the other night to the Studio Movie Grill in Plano & when we got there, this was written on the marquee out front:
"Cheryl Jackson
Deal or No Deal"
I thought some lucky girl had a clever boyfriend who decided to propose that way, but when I asked inside, the ticket taker said they were filming that game show in one of the theaters. (Which was a relief, because after thinking about it some more, I thought that proposal was a bit blunt.) So, tell me if you ever see a Cheryl Jackson & you'll know that it was filmed here in Plano!
