Starts Young

I may be unique, but my guess is that most women at some time or another have the urge to tell their spouse to "Say ---------" and spell out exactly what it is they want to hear at that moment. Of course, we rarely do it because then if our husbands dutifully repeated it to us, it wouldn't count because we had to tell themto say it. Apparently this is wired into our brains, since Ava already does it at age 3. So many times over the past days I've noticed her telling us to tell her something. Last night she was coloring and told Cody, "Say good job Ava." The other night she spilled water on her shirt and my response of "Oh-no there's water all over your shirt" didn't work for her. She told me, "Say it's going to be okay, Mama. Say it's going to dry soon." Hey, I think it's great that she can articulate what she needs, and isn't afraid to ask for it.

Becky,

Just wanted to tell you how it warmed my heart passing the nursery Sunday morning and hearing your sweet voice singing songs to our babies. God has blessed you with a gift, and I am so thankful for the way you use it to bless our children's ministry.
Blessings,
Lynn
