Non-Stop Day
I had one of those non-stop days today. It seems like I went from one activity to another all day long. I took Ava to school, came home, and almost immediately headed to a doctor appt. while Cody went to Ava's school to take her and Nate on a field trip to the fire station. Meanwhile, at my dr. appt. I had to get a sonogram because I was measuring noticeably smaller than I should be at this point. They just wanted to make sure everything was okay in there, and it was. The baby is turned sideways right now which is unusal for a baby. The sonographer says they are almost always up and down. So number 3 is already a rule-breaker. Great. I got home shortly before Cody and the kids, then we sat down for lunch. Cody's parents came in as we were eating. Granna got to come with Ava and me to the hospital to get her cast put on, while Grandad got to stay home and watch Nate. Cody went back to work. The hospital visit went well. Ava got a hot pink cast that will stay on 2 1/2 weeks. While we were there, some very noisy clowns came into the waiting room. Ava watched them with a mix of amusement and horror. I was glad they didn't get too close to our seats. We got back home and I ran to Kohls because they are having a huge toy sale (lots of brands 40-50% off!) I got a lot of Christmas shopping done. As soon as I came home it was time to order dinner. The six of us enjoyed a nice meal together, some playing, then the grandparents headed home and it was nearly bath time. After baths, Cody and I watched The Office (we had taped it) and now it is almost time for bed. Ahhhhhhh. Can't wait to sink into the bed tonight.
