At least it wasn't the police

I met my friend Amberly at the mall today so Nate and Nick could play together. It was a fun morning which also included a decaf Starbucks peppermint mocha, thanks to Stephanie (who gave me a gift card way back during summer when I helped host her baby shower.) I strongly recommend the highly overpriced peppermint mocha to everyone, and hope to have another one myself soon. After the play date ended, Nate and I popped into Gymboree on our way to the car. Their sale stuff was an extra 20% off so I figured I'd take a look. I found the most adorable denim overalls with a caboose on the front for Nate. But, when I took them up to pay with my debit card, the cashier asked to see my ID. I flipped open my wallet only to realize that Cody has my driver's license today. This is probably the one time in my life I have not had my ID with me. Cody took it to work today because he has to make 2 copies of our driver's licenses and insurance card to turn in to the hospital with our pre-registration form Thursday. It seems like most places don't even ask to see ID with credit or debit purchases, but Gymboree does and there is no getting around it. So I left feeling a little sheepish and a bit like a criminal trying to pull one over on Gymboree. But, as the title says, it could have been much worse. And, I just ordered those cute overalls online.

Nice to know they care. My credit card number got stolen. I think a retailer stole it as well. I still have my credit card but someone definitely got the number b/c my credit card has been charged everyday for the last 4 days to the Dominican Republic. The credit card has been cancelled now, obviously. Good thing I checked my credit card account online b/c my credit card company was not on top of it. I am going to find out why they did not question these charges. I am a little frustrated.
