JC Penney Part Two
A few weeks ago I wrote about my disappointing experience getting Nate's 2 year photos made at JC Penney. The photographer was apethetic, unenergetic, and basically lacked all skills necessary to get a child's attention or make them smile. Now I have to tell you the rest of the story, which is: JC Penney is super when it comes to customer service. I emailed their web site a comment about my experience and they wrote back an apology and also sent a coupon in the mail for 3 free sheets for the next time I get photos made. Then today when I went to the store to pick up Nate's photos, the man there seemed really nice and helpful. I asked him if he was the manager, but he was not. He was actually in charge of field training for several stores. I told him I had a bad time getting these photos made, but that I had already written the web site and told them about it. He asked me to tell him about it as well, so I did. He was extremely apologetic and gave me a coupon for 6 free sheets next time I get photos made. He practically begged me to come back and give them another chance because there are changes in management being made right now and he expects many wonderful improvements soon. So, they did a good job of making amends. It will serve them well, since I am a frequent customer about to have even another reason (due in 7 weeks!) to get photos made even more often. I doubt I will have another bad experience anytime soon. I've been going there regularly for 4 years and this was the first time I was unsatisfied.

That is so nice! Customer service is an amazing thing. I can't imagine how things would run without it! Glad all went well for you. JC Penneys does great pics!
