I sent this photo to a few people and got so many replies about how adorbale it was, I figured I should post it here too. Cody and I were joking last night about having a lot of kids so that they can take care of us when we get old. I said that the more kids we have, the more chances one or two of them might become doctors or lawyers or some other high-paying profession, and they can take care of us in style in our golden years. Looks like Nate is well on his way. It would be fun if he really did become a doctor one day and we could show this photo in his graduation slide show or something. In fact, I should take pictures of my kids in all sorts of occupational get-ups so that I might have a cute picture of them no matter what profession they choose one day. Then I can point back to the photo and say, "See, we always knew you would grow up to be a ________."Hey- I even have a few already!

I see several possibilities...........the cute chick in the boat is just dying to show off her aqua tricks.....and Nate looks like he ought to be taking the MCAT any day! Just hope he gets there in time to take care of his Granna! "Train up a child in the way he should go.........." is a verse my dad always said was to nurture and encourage a child where their interest was, according to the original translations. And we tried and tried to get Cord to go into journalism of some sort! (Guess my dad was right, huh?)
Nate makes such a handsome doctor! And I absolutely LOVE that picture of Ava as a professional wake boarder!
