Birth- Two

I have the best obgyn in Dallas, Dr. Ted Fogwell. Seriously, this doctor is so wonderful that everyone should look him up on their insurance and start seeing him right away. There's a long list of things I like about him: the way he runs his office (in 3 pregnancies I can count on one hand the times I've had to wait past an appointment time), he's a Christian, his nurses and receptionist are all super nice and helpful, he sits and talks with me for as long as I want without seeming impatient to move on to other patients, he has a sense of humor, he really knows what he is doing when it comes to medicine, and best of all he lets me make the choices about what to do after presenting all the options. He has two criteria for deciding if something is okay to do: Does it hurt me, and does it hurt the baby. If the answer is no to both then I can pretty much do whatever I want. In fact his catch-phrase with me has become "Whatever you want, you're the princess."

Finding the right OB/Gyn is so important!! I'm glad you love yours! I switched to a new dr. when I was 25 weeks pregnant with the twins. Several offices wouldn't accept me because I was switching so far along during a high risk pregnancy. When a co-worker recommended her dr. to me & his entire staff welcomed me with open arms, I knew I would stick with him forever! Kinda like a spouse... you just know when you've found the right doctor!

I really love my doctor too! She and her staff were amazing through the whole pregnancy ordeal. I looked forward to every appointment, and all of the ladies in the office knew about me and would ask questions about how things were going and remember things about me and Chris. It was so nice! The doctor experience can be so great or it be horrible.

I love my doctor too, he is Michael Cowart at Baylor Garland. He too is a Christian and quotes Bible verses to me. I just saw him this past Monday because I felt a lump in my breast. He did not know of my accident and when he heard how long I had been going through it started talking to me about Paul and how Paul had to suffer so that others were brought to Christ and perhaps that is what God is doing through me. Anyway...I always appreciate the way he tries to encourage me in the Lord.
