The person who packed up my Kohls order for shipping is probably going to get fired. It won't be because of customers' complaints. It will be for giving away the merchandise for free. I received a large Kohls shipment today that I ordered last week. I got several surprises. For one thing, there was a package of 6 girls' athletic socks- very cute ankle cut with bright stripes of color at the top in the perfect size for Ava. I did not order those. They were just in the box, and were not on my statement at all. A little freebie. Good thing I have a girl that can wear those. Then, I had ordered a 12 inch tall lava lamp that was on clearance for $2.99. I know! That is really cheap. I thought it might be cute in the boys' room. It was in a separate box inside one of the larger boxes. When I opened it, I saw that the box really contained 4 lava lamps. The person accidentally sent me a box of lamps instead of removing only one to send. Now I have FOUR lava lamps for $2.99. An even better deal! Some friends and family might be getting lava lamps for Christmas...hmmmm.
This reminds me about how I was going to blog about my free pizzas. In the past month I have received 2 free pizzas for strange reasons. Both times I ordered from Dominoes and both times I felt kind of bad for ordering and spending money on pizza when I should probably just make something from what we had at home. The first time I ordered, the delivery guy's car broke down and the lady called and said she would get someone else to bring me a pizza about 30 minutes late and I would not have to pay for it. The second time I ordered, they brought me a cheese pizza instead of pepperoni. When I called them, they sent a pepperoni and told me to keep the first one and I would not need to pay anything at all. That night, I got 2 free pizzas. So really, the grand total is 3 free pizzas in the last month. Maybe the pizza guy got fired and is now working at Kohls??
