Miserable

I am miserable. I have an infection on one of my tonsils. I'll spare you all the disgusting, horrible details (of which there are many) and just say that I have had fever, chills, and a stabbing pain in my throat for 2 days now.

I went to the ER for this Wed. night and am taking an antibiotic, but it hasn't helped any yet. Please oh please let it start working soon!

I really need a good primary care physician. I don't have one, and this ordeal has made me wish I had one that I loved. Since my pleas for a dentist yielded great results, I am now asking you all to email me privately if you can recommend a fantastic doctor. Thanks!

I am so sorry that you are miserable - I really wish you felt better! Maybe your medicine will start working...good for you for going to the doctor! Unfortunately, I can't recommend a general practitioner because I really don't have one either!

Becky, the last time I had a throat infection, I also went to my dr. crying... literally. He gave me a shot because I begged him! The twins were still babies & I could not function any longer. Anyway, the shot worked wonders!!

I love my dr. He's in Sachse & treats our whole family. Stephanie & Lindsay use him also. I'll send you his info.

I am so sorry! I have a really bad throat problem about 3-4 weeks ago.. it was horrible and painful... I had it for almost 2 weeks. BUT, I didn't take any medicine. Hopefully, yours will go away much sooner with medicine.

Becky,

I've been going to the same doctor since I was 5. My mom actually worked for him for 12 years. He's the nicest man, and loves his job. His name is Dr. Walton and he practices right across the street from Medical City at Forest Ln and Central Expwy. He also has a co-doctor who is very nice as well. Her name is Dr. Young. I'll send you his information if you're interested.

Sure hope you are better! Steve and I really like our doctor. He is on George Bush and Renner at the Richardson Medical Center. His name is Thomas Winkler and he is a member at Saturn Road.(Just a fluke, we didn't know that at first) He's been our doctor for about 9 years now.
