Conversations with Ava

It's that time again, folks. Time for another installment of conversations with Ava.

Me: (just sitting, reading a book. Ava walks up to me.)

Ava: I believe in reindeer, and Santa, and Frosty the snowman, but I don't believe in crocodiles that eat you all up. Actually, I don't believe in Frosty either. (she walks away.)

A one-sided conversation, I know. Just my little girl trying to figure out what to believe about this crazy world around her. What I find absolutely hilarious is that the one thing she does not believe in is the one real thing in the entire list. Until she added Frosty that is.
I didn't point out the crocodile error, by the way. What kind of sadistic person do you think I am? I can see it now: Sorry honey, but crocodiles really do eat people all up sometimes with their terribly sharp teeth. They just rip human flesh to shreds and bite arms and legs clean off. Now you know the truth. Okay, now have sweet dreams, good night.

Better to wait on that one. :) Espcially since we do not live in Florida. :)

I was glad to hear this conversation as I had been wondering what you finally decided to do about Santa. It seems like once upon a time you considered not doing Santa. I'm glad to you decided in his favor!
