Music Monday

Here's a song I like...mostly because of the guitar. It's a solo song by George Harrison. I think the lyrics are pretty good too, except for the part "keep me free from birth." I don't get that. I'm guessing it refers somehow to his religious beliefs but I really don't know. I do know, however, that those words always made me smile when I was getting toward the end of a pregnancy. I'd be humming along at 8 1/2 months pregnant thinking oh yeah, keep me free from birth because it's gonna HURT! But there are other lyrics in the song that touch me, and that I could say sincerely to God. Lyrics about wanting light and love and to be taken by the hand and for help to understand. Yeah. I've been there.

Give Me Love by George Harrison 1973

Can you believe I don't think I've ever heard this song before? But I like it!
