Many of my friends' blogs today are about a large, loud storm last night. Several of them even took shelter in their closets in the middle of the night.
My blog is about how I didn't even know there was a storm last night.
The end.

Usually, this would have been me. I sleep through all middle-of-the-night storms. But for some reason, I woke up last night. Hmmmm. And of course, the damage was evident on my way to work this morning.
yep....I've actually been to your house.....when Elaine was in town several years ago I picked her up from your house and dropped her off somewhere else. Little did I know we'd end up being neighbors! A family from my church actually lives where your street deadends into the cross-street.
You are not alone. I woke up this morning thinking all that media hype about storms coming and evidently Flower Mound didn't get a drop. As I walked down the hallway and looked out the front door, could see the street was wet and then started seeing all the leaves and small branches down all over our yard. As I drove into town later there was water standing everywhere. Don said it was booming right outside our bedroom.......but I slept soundly through it all and woke up rested! what does that say about us???

our neighborhood really didn't feel the brunt of the storm. folks farther north got hit much much harder.
p.s. I live about 4 streets from you, if you didn't know that already.....
