Food Stuff

I've found a few new things to try at the grocery store lately.

These chips are my new favorite. I found out about them when I kept a friend's toddler one afternoon, and this was the snack he had brought. I've tried a couple of brands and these are my favorite so far. I love the name: Stacy's Simply Naked Pita Chips. They are flavored well with sea salt and have the perfect texture. The only problem is at 6 oz. per bag, I can practically eat the entire thing in one sitting.

I hardly ever buy carbonated beverages. But I was walking down the drink isle for some reason and saw green tea ginger ale. It sounded really good. And I have to admit the pretty green packaging caught my eye. Somebody in the marketing department did a great job. Anyway, I bought some to try and I really enjoyed it. It's not something I would want all the time, but it makes a nice treat. Cody even liked it.

When Cody and I went to Central Market to buy goodies for a Mother's Day feast, I bought a bottle of Italian soda. I think it was pear flavored. I loved it. There was a man there giving samples of a drink he made by mixing 2 parts white wine with 1 part Italian soda. It tasted okay, but I preferred the Italian soda on its own. Or maybe I would like a more equal mixture of the two. I want to try more flavors of Italian soda now. Again, this is more of a special treat instead of an every day thing. I'm probably the last person to know about Italian soda, so readers please tell me which flavors I should try next.
