Music Monday

Jazz. I love it. There's nothing like it. And in jazz there are certain tunes that are well-loved and recognized as simply amazing. One of my favorites is "In a Sentimental Mood" composed by Duke Ellington in 1935. If ever there was a jazz genius, it would be him. The version playing today was recorded in 1962 and features Ellington on piano and John Coltrane on sax. Just close your eyes and absorb the music. Let is flow over, around, and in you. It doesn't get much better than this.
