Lucas is starting to talk like crazy lately. He's saying words I had no idea he knew. (None of them are questionable in nature thankfully. Ava learned a song in music class last week that has the line "Gosh, no!" and felt the need to change it to "No, no!" because she doesn't want to say a bad word. I don't think I have ever told her that "gosh" is a bad word. Although I admit I prefer not to use it and am glad she feels the same way.)
Anyway, Lucas knows a zillion words but he doesn't know how to say "yes." So the only way he can show his assent is by cheering "Yea!" which he does occasionally or by saying "Otay." So a common exchange goes something like this...
Lucas: Mick, mick
Me: Do you want some milk?
Lucas: Otay!
But that's where his similarity to Buckwheat ends....or is it?
