Lucas is starting to talk like crazy lately. He's saying words I had no idea he knew. (None of them are questionable in nature thankfully. Ava learned a song in music class last week that has the line "Gosh, no!" and felt the need to change it to "No, no!" because she doesn't want to say a bad word. I don't think I have ever told her that "gosh" is a bad word. Although I admit I prefer not to use it and am glad she feels the same way.)
Anyway, Lucas knows a zillion words but he doesn't know how to say "yes." So the only way he can show his assent is by cheering "Yea!" which he does occasionally or by saying "
Otay." So a common exchange goes something like this...
Lucas: Mick, mick
Me: Do you want some milk?
Lucas:
Otay!
But that's where his similarity to Buckwheat ends....or is it?
