I'm not sure where to begin about Nate. I guess I'll just throw propriety aside for a minute and brag like the proud mama I am. This kid is the perfect blend of sweetness and toughness. If I were going to design the perfect "boy personality," I'd pick his in an instant. He's aggressive and playful, but not to the point of forgetting others' feelings. He's competitive and athletic, but still likes to hug and snuggle. He's sharp as a tack, and always wants to know how everything works and why. He makes me smile, and I am so very glad he's my son.

Birthday Boy
This guy is 5 years old.
