Garden

I stopped by the garden this morning and picked one zucchini, one poblano pepper, one bell pepper, and a few cherry tomatoes. I used the zucchini to make chocolate chip zucchini bread this afternoon. I sauteed the poblano pepper with onion in butter and used it in quesadillas tonight. And I popped those ripe juicy tomatoes straight into my mouth one after another. The only thing left in the vegetable crisper is the bell pepper. Sometimes I take it out just to smell it. Have you ever smelled a homegrown bell pepper? Thank you, garden.
