Hurting

Lucas attends a small Christian preschool at a small Christian church. There aren't many on staff, but this small staff has been hit hard recently with a lot of illness, unexpected deaths, and loved ones in hospice care. It's a time of pain and deep sadness and frankly it's overwhelming to a lot of the people involved. I've been subbing there a lot, filling in for sweet people who are experiencing some of the most painful blows life can deliver. And I just feel like saying I'm sad for my friends.
