Crazy Dreams

For the past week or so I've been flooded with crazy dreams.

I don't think I'm eating differently or behaving abnormally during the day.  I have no idea why each night my brain is firing off the wildest, most exhausting dreams.  Exhausting because they involve things like repeatedly rushing into a burning building to save people (mostly children) or being attacked by a large cat-like animal at a zoo-like place.

And I am seeing all sorts of people in my dreams.  If you're reading this, you've probably been in them, along with about a hundred other random people from my life that are popping up in strange scenarios.  I had to save Lucas' preschool teacher from that burning building I mentioned earlier...but it wasn't easy because she was unconscious and I had to heft her onto my back.  ????????  What is going on with me?

Last night I was doing experiments in my dreams, trying to solve some questions about ant behavior.  But I was also at a very shady night club of some kind with some random people (Jackie, you and your two oldest were there...) trying to figure out if I would stay for the comedy act or not.  I also spent some time imprisoned with a magician.

It's just getting ridiculous.  I'm not used to even remembering my dreams in the morning, but at the rate I'm going right now I could practically write a novel based on them.  There's so much content, so much memory, and a feeling of restlessness that is starting to bug me.

Maybe this means I have something to work out in real life that my brain is refusing to acknowledge.  Or maybe not.  Who knows?!

I just hope this is a phase that will soon be over.  If not, I might as well get to work on that novel...

I think a novel would be awesome! At least a dream diary to start with.
