Da Vinci Code

I'm probably the only person in the universe that hasn't read the Da Vinci Code yet. I finally broke down and bought it at half price books and I am so glad I did! I'm on chapter 17 and entirely enthralled, wrapped up, mesmerized by the story and can't wait to pick it up again. When the book first came out, I remember feeling somewhat irritated by all the religious speculation regarding Jesus' supposed hidden daughter and the secret religious organization "priory of sion", etc. I thought the author must be full of baloney. Well, he very may well be full of baloney, but he sure knows how to tell a great murder mystery tale and frankly that is all I am interested in getting from this book. By the way, I know that you really spell it "bologna" but that just doesn't transfer well on the written page when I really am thinking the pronunciation of "baloney." So what is one supposed to do?
