Thick, Thicker, Thickest

Our American culture is so funny sometimes. I'm making brownies tonight and the back of the box has directions for making thick, thicker, or thickest brownies based on the size of pan used. Being a minimalist, I opted for only the "thick" brownies. One day I might go all out and make the "thickest", but heaven forbid I ever make thin or even regular ones. Same thing with fast food restaurants. The sizes often START at large and work their way up through extra large, or biggie size, or super size. Or they start at regular, but never small. Texans have long had the reputation of thinking "the bigger the better," but things may be getting out of hand. Excuse me, I'm going to go enjoy my thick brownies now.
