Hide and Seek
Of all the childhood games I remember playing, my least favorite is hide and seek. It just isn't much fun at all. Even though it is a group game, you are alone while playing it. You are either alone and seeking others, or alone and hiding somewhere where it is most likely dark. Not to mention, you are also probably hunched up in some strange uncomfortable contortion. How did Hide and Seek get to be such a classic kids' game? I don't think it has much going for it. A game I did like is Red Rover. The thrill of not knowing when your name will be called by the other team...running with all your might to break through, or holding with all your might wondering if the runner was going to try to break your hold or somewhere else in the chain...now THAT's fun.
