Animal Kingdom

Recently Nate and Ava have been wrestling around in the floor more often. Ava likes to lay on her back, and Nate finds that pose too difficult to resist. It's as if he is compelled to throw himself across her belly. They honestly look like two tiger cubs on an animal show. I got the video camera out today to tape some of this playful sibling activity. They both just giggled and wrestled away. I have high hopes for their relationship with each other as they grow and travel through life. The sibling relationship is usually the longest one of our lives, you know. I hope they can cherish one another and be there for each other. I want them to appreciate their sibling and treat them with love and respect and look out for them in small and big ways. Cody and I will do all we can to foster that kind of environment for them because we know how important it is to have people you can count on in life. We want them to count on each other.
