Turning 3

Tomorrow, my little girl turns three. This is the first year that she seems to really grasp the idea of what a birthday means and that it is her special day. We made cupcakes for her to take to school tomorrow. We have special activities planned for tomorrow. I'll make one of her favorites for dinner, and hopefully Daddy can even take off from work a bit early. Then next Saturday she gets to celebrate with friends and family at her Dora themed birthday party. Exciting! I love celebrating, and this is the best kind of celebration. How sweet to pause and appreciate all the unique, wonderful qualities that make up this precious girl. And I also reflect on the incredible blessings we enjoy because God entrusted her to our care. I am thankful to God for forming her so beautifully and for allowing us to enjoy that beauty on a daily basis.
