Quiet Morning

Every morning is the same. I stay in bed as long as possible, until I hear Nate's whimpers or Ava comes bounding into my room. But this morning- I actually got up and came downstairs before the children were awake. It has been such a quiet and special time for me. I baked some muffins, checked a few web pages, and reflected on some thoughts. It's grey and dreary outside, and the children are sleeping in this morning. I'm glad I got up and it may even make the rest of the day a little better thanks to this "me" time this morning.
