Open to Advice
Ok, here's your chance. If you've never posted a comment before, this is a perfect opportunity. For my 30th birthday in August, Cody is taking me on a trip. A trip to ANYWHERE I want in the US. It would be anywhere in the world, except we'll have to leave the kids with his parents (thank goodness for grandparents) for about 3 nights, and it isn't enough time to go overseas. We'll save that for our tenth anniversary or soemthing. Anyway, choosing from every city in the US is really tough. I love to travel and I especially love to go to places I have never been before. That is why I am leaning toward Chicago right now. But, I am not completely sold on it. I also love the mountains. I've never been to New York City, but I think it might be a little busier than I am wanting, which might be a problem with Chicago as well. There are a few places I have already been and love, but I'd really like to go somewhere new for this big celebration. If you have any ideas, send them along. I guess lower Canada isn't out of the question either, so keep that in mind.

I LOVED my one trip to NYC. I went about 6 years ago with a couple of girlfriends & we really had the best time! I've always wanted to travel to Montana, also. Not sure where in Montana, but the entire state just sounds like it would be beautiful & relaxing.

NYC is awesome - it could be as busy (or not)as you want to make it as far as what you do. Also, what about Prince Edward Island or some place in Canada like that? I've always wanted to go there! I'd also like to go to Cabo San Lucas or a beach somewhere (Cabo is technically Mexico, but close enough for a short trip). Oh, there are so many places!
I loved both of my trips to Chicago, so I would highly recommend there. Although Knoxville is a really close second. Just kidding! I have also always wanted to visit the New England area. Allison
