Super Saturdays Suddenly Suck

Saturdays were a special day for the kids. Their 3 favorite cartoons came on in a row on CBS. Diego, The Backyardigans, and Dora were a highlight of the week. Since we don't have cable, that was the only time they could watch these Nick Jr. shows. I love the shows, too. They are high quality! However, I guess the new season started today and those shows are GONE. They've been replaced by some awful cartoons that are not only above my kids' age level, but really stupid. I am not going to let my kids see these new shows- they just can't compare to what used to be on Saturday mornings. We were all shocked today when we turned on the t.v. expecting Diego and got "Sabrina, the Animated Series." Pathetic. Just when Saturday morning cartoons had gotten good again (ah, think back the the good old days of Smurfs, Care Bears, etc...) they had to ruin it.
