We walked a ton, and saw a couple of shows. The pig races were good, the sheep dogs were a little boring. I even "won" stuffed dogs for the kids at a dart toss game! (OK, so I paid $10 for 7 darts with the assurance from the carnie that I would win two dogs even if I didn't hit any pink stars...which I didn't.)
The parade this year was excellent. There were so many big colorful floats. Ava and Nate waved until I thought their arms would fall off. It wears us out, but I am so glad we go. I look forward to it every year.

I had wondered how the fair day went and it sounded like fun for all......tho there was no mention of Cody! Looked like the kids were having fun. Did they eat their corny dogs? Ava will get to tell us all about it tomorrow. We are anxious to see them. Thought I might go with you to the hospital and Don stay with Nate. How does that sound?
