Sonic

My favorite fast food place has got to be Sonic. I love their burgers, the foot long coney, shakes, and lots more. Plus, they have the best kids' meals. My kids love the grilled cheese with tots. It also comes with milk and a toy. Sonic usually has really great toys. What is really scary, however, is just how many little Sonic toys we have in our house. This is even after I have thrown a bunch of them away. This is evidence of how often we go there and grab lunch. (I admit, it's almost once a week.) I just went online and signed my kids up for the Sonic kids club, so I'll receive an email coupon for a free wacky pack kids' meal on their birthday.
Sonic and I go way back. One of my favorite Sonic treats is the pineapple milkshake which I discovered sometime during high school while out shopping with my mom. Cody used to surprise me with one every once and a while back when we were dating in college. I remember one time he brought one to me in the music building where I had been practicing piano for hours. I was really impressed with how sweet and thoughtful that was. And it was exactly what I needed. So, one could say that Sonic even played a part in sealing my relationship with Cody. I had even planned to send someone to get me a foot long coney to eat after giving birth to Ava, but it didn't quite work out. That was back in my super cautious days when I avoided eating hot dogs while pregnant (the experts warn of listeria so I had been avoiding the Coney during my entire pregnancy and was craving one like crazy.) Now Sonic has cleverly come up with pre-paid Sonic debit cards that can be swiped right from the car. I have never gotten one of those (shocking, I know), but I bet they make great gifts...hint hint.
