Winter Wonderland

It's snowing! Beautiful, fluffy, soft flakes are drifting gently in the air...that is, until the fierce wind whips and slams them into the house or ground. I wouldn't want to go outside right now for anything. Just looking outside makes me feel cold, and I wish we had a fire going in the fireplace. But, I didn't think to bring wood up, and I don't really know how to start a fire all that well anyway. Cody won't be in until late tonight, if he gets in at all. His flight is delayed. So, I'll make hot chocolate tonight after the kids go to bed to celebrate the arrival of winter. Stay warm everybody!
