Super Bowl

Watching the super bowl tonight really played mind tricks on Cody and me. The rain just poured and poured on those poor players, coaches and fans. By the end of the game I told Cody I felt like I needed a hot shower and to change into dry clothes. Cody told me he felt like it was raining outside our house the same as on t.v. I felt bad for everyone getting soaked to the bone.
I was glad to see the Colts win. I have a soft spot for Peyton Manning, although I am not sure exactly why. I don't know much about him.
Somebody at Cody's office is going to be plenty happy because they won $250 tonight. There was a pool set up with 100 squares. A square could be purchased for $5. After all the names were assigned to squares, the numbers 0-9 were drawn randomly and placed across the top (for the Colts) and then the side (for the Bears). At the end of each quarter, the last digit of each team's score would be used to determine the winning square, like a point on a graph. Each quarter paid out $125 (from the pool of $500). The first two quarters, the ending score had the same last digits, so somebody won it twice! To win, we would have had to have the Colts end a quarter with a 7- which is a good number to have, but the Bears end in a 5- not so easy to accomplish.
It's ok that we didn't win. My mind is on other things right now anyway, like, when is this baby going to be born?????? Cody asked tonight if I plan to blog from the hospital. Probably not.
