Day Off

Cody took the day off today. It was a special treat for us to have him home all day on a Thursday. We had donuts for breakfast. I got to go get a pedicure. I love pedicures. There's this great place in the shopping center next to our Kroger that is cheap and does a wonderful job. It's almost an hour of pampering, and I like the way my feet look with fresh polish. No matter how hard I try, I can't get the same look at home. This afternoon we went to JCPenney and had a family picture made. I also got a couple of great photos of all three kids together. Plus, we've been watching college basketball off and on all day. We got to play outside and visit with neighbors this evening. The weather was perfect. This has been such a nice day. I'm thankful for days like today that our family gets to spend together.
