Omission

I guess I should have included the part where I called Kohls and they told me to keep the items. And I apologize to all customers who will now have to absorb the cost of Kohls shipping mistake.

That's what the Kohls lady said, too. I think they must have a standard reply for when someone calls in to report items they received that they did not order. She said, "Thank you for your honesty, and just keep the items since we mis-shipped them, and we apologize for any inconvenience." Although, I doubt anyone feels inconvenienced about getting extra items. She did ask how much the items cost before she said that. So there is probably a cut-off amount where they would have me to send the items back.

Good for you! I knew it didn't sound like you to not have called Kohls about their mistake. But then again, I haven't seen you in a long time...you are apparently a beer drinker now...who knows what other sinful habits you've adopted! Ha ha! Just kidding, of course!

Wow. You've got the morality police reading your blog and keeping you honest (as if you needed any help). In my mind, things have a way of balancing out in the world - things come and things go... (Let it be unless one is intentionally out to take advantage of others).
My $.02

Enjoy your freebies =) If you thought one lava lamp would look cool in the boys' room... 4 would look way cooler!

HUGE omission! Glad you cleared that up. It really sounded out of character for you.

Hmmmm. Morality police. LOL!

I hope you know me well enough to know that was not my intention. My HUGE mistake was in commenting on it publicly. Should have picked up the phone to call. Sorry. My bad. Forgiveness please?

We are all faced with those moments from time to time where we are given too much change back from a purchase etc. It is always our opportunity to know who we really are when no one is looking over our shoulder.(human that is) I am glad you were able to be an example to all of us of what integrity looks like.

I bought a camera once online. They shipped it out, two days latter I got a second one. I called they said “thanks, we will have UPS come get”. I boxed it, labeled it with the R.M.A they gave me, placed it by the door and waited. 6 months latter I called them again, they said "sorry, are bad. We'll send UPS over to get it". 6 months latter (1 year in total) I gave it to my brother for Christmas. I live with Allison, and even she said I could keep after a year! Also, Shiner Bock is good, regardless of what Allison says!

Morality police that is funny. I was thinking from a "claims" side also we just started handling shipping claims and oh my goodness talk about messes. You guys thought shipping bodies to the wrong funeral homes oh never mind this was about $2.00 lava lamps, you know me I cannot stay focused :)

Becky I love your writing
