Music Monday

So far I haven't included any country songs in Music Monday.  There is plenty of country music out there that I like, though, so I figured I had better represent it tonight.  Some may say that the artist I've chosen is more of a rock/blues singer, but she is also considered a country singer by many, I think.  I mean, I haven't polled America about this, but I consider her a country artist.
Anyway, I have always loved this song of hers.  It's the rhythm...how it drives along with a bit of a bounce to it.  It's the lyrics...about a love being suddenly discovered between people who seem to be the last ones to know!  It's the vocal talent of Bonnie Raitt, how she belts it out without being overbearing.  It's just a great song.  And here it is for your listening enjoyment.  I recommend turning this one way up and dancing along.

OH, and please do not watch the dumb video. Somebody on Youtube made their own little video of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger and set it to this song. In fact, when you search Youtube for this title, about 500 videos come up, each featuring a different "couple." I was just looking for a good recording of the song, and figured Harry and Hermione would be a bonus for the true Harry Potter fans out there.

I've always loved this song. It brings back long ago memories of my mom & I riding in her brand new Nissan blaring the Bonnie Raitt cassette she purchased. Great song!
