Huge Update
OK, I'm irritated that I can't get blogger to post my photo the correct way, but I don't have time to deal with it right now and I wanted to post. It's been way too long since I posted. So much has happened, so I will try to hit the main points.
First of all, our long time pet Jingle had to be put to sleep on Monday. Nate drew this picture on the left a few days before she died. He really loved that cat. She had gotten very thin and frail over the past couple of years and then Sunday her fate was sealed when Cody accidentally stepped on her as he unloaded our car. Her leg was broken. I had to take her to the vet the next morning to be put down. Our family is sad about her death, but we realize it was time.
Other big news is that tonight we are signing a lease agreement with a sweet family who wants to lease our house for 18 months. This is perfect for us and them. We can try to sell our house again in the summer of 2010 and hopefully the market will have improved by then. I am so excited about how this has all worked out perfectly for their family and ours.
We are moving to our new house this Saturday! I've been waiting for this day ever since we closed on our new home 3 months ago! I am so happy to be moving. But that means this week is hectic and full of packing and cleaning.
Our family also went camping last weekend (my first time to camp ever!) and I want to post about that trip soon. The bad news is that Friday our internet is getting cut off and will not be back until Nov. 4. So if I have another long absence that is why!

I look over at your house almost everytime I'm headed home - since I don't know exactly where your new house is, it will be a little strange that you aren't in that one anymore!
Have fun moving and resettling!!
Praising God for answering your prayers in and Ephesians 3:20 way!
R.I.P. Jingle.
Best of luck with the move - no small task I'm sure! I'll be thinking about ya!
I'm so sad about having to put your dog down. We had to do that in November 2007. It was absolutely awful. We had a very understanding vet, and we held her as she took her last breath. She was 15 1/2 years old. We never thought we could do that, but she got so sick so quickly and the vet showed us her x-rays and blood work - she was covered with cancer. She could barely breathe - gasping for each breath. This all happened in a 2-day time period. We knew it was the right thing to do.
But then there's your happy news! Moving to a new home and starting fresh. Will you get a new dog?
