Nerdy Reading
I'm reading my first book on our new ipad using the ibook application. It is too cool. I'm in love with paper books, so I wasn't sure how I would feel about reading a book on a screen. It's actually very easy to use, and I have free access to tons of books that are under public domain. In seconds, I can have a book delivered to the ipad and start reading. My first choice is a free classic by Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray. How had I not read this before? It is a masterpiece! I've been using the bookmark option on ipad which allows me to highlight the tons of witty and thoughtful lines throughout this book. I have to highlight something on nearly every page because the book is full of lines that I find hilarious or that make me think. I am completely sold on the idea of reading books via the ipad, and whether you have an ipad or not please pick up a copy of this amazing tale by Oscar Wilde. It's a fun read no matter what version.

My dad was just telling us on the way home from the airport tonight about ibook on the ipad and how it compared to his kindle. Interesting. He likes them both. Will have to check out the Wilde novel, although I feel like I have read it before...
