Our family rather spontaneously decided to make a trip to Ham Orchards today to buy fresh peaches. Just outside Terrell, this little place has a lot to offer. There are lots of fresh fruits and veggies to choose from, an outdoor patio serving hamburgers and other food, a pick-your-own blackberry patch (which has recently closed for the season), the best peach ice cream ever, fried pies, a train track literally 15 feet from the building which gives close up views of trains barreling past (you can see the people in the passenger trains waving...), and just a good old fashioned farm-y feeling.

This is so cool! I heard about this recently and want to take Dustin and the boys out there. It's on my to do list!
