Skiing

Guess what. You CAN teach an old dog new tricks.
Probably most people don't wait till age 35 to try waterskiing for the first time.

My heart was pounding as I awkwardly strapped on the skis. People were giving me advice right and left. My main goal was to avoid looking like a total idiot. Thankfully it only took me 3 tries to get up out of the water and after that I was able to go for a good bit without falling. However, in just about every photo, my brows are knit in a look of grave concern and my mouth is grimacing, not smiling. And can I just say that my arms are SORE. It's hard work, waterskiing, but it is a fun feeling that I'm glad I got to experience!

Glad you got to experience waterskiing! I used to do it as a kid/teenager, but I haven't done it in years. I always remember being sore...legs and arms. It gets more fun the more times you do it!
