What?

Now I've seen it all, I guess. I was shopping online at Landsend.com last night and did a double-take when I saw this little ad in the corner of the screen. A play on words involving shopping and Advent? Really? As if those two things belong together...at all! I confess I felt kind of dirty, uncomfortable, like maybe I should stop shopping right that second and concentrate on what this time of year is really about. Marketing Fail, Landsend, since this little blurb made me want to do anything BUT buy and spend. In fact, it is still bothering me today.
