I took dozens of photographs of the flowers I saw in Tyler last weekend. And while I'm no professional, I thought a few turned out especially nice. I'm curious about which is most beautiful in the eyes of my readers, so please vote in the poll in the sidebar.

altho pink dogwood is a favorite for me, the purple iris photo is really good.
that purple iris was lit perfectly by the sun, which really makes that picture. i don't often luck into fabulous lighting. usually i find the lighting in my photos to be less than ideal.
It was hard to choose! These are all beautiful. I love the iris but I think my fave is the next one (#4 - sorry I don't know what its called). I like the intricate detail of the flower and the little dew (or rain) drops on the petals.
My vote - the purple one! All great photos.
Wow! Those do look professional. Every time I'd scroll down, that next picture would be my favorite...until I got to the last picture. There's something about it that I can't stop looking at. You should blow a few of those up, put them in frames with big mattes, and hang them up as artwork. :)
