I was looking through old photos this afternoon and ran across this one I took last Christmas of a stunning tree. It sits in a lonely field, out in the middle of the country near Cody's parents' house. I dont even know how it has electricity. But, i do know it's one of my favorite sights of the season, something I always want to drive out and see. Someone has taken great pains to create this most beautifully lit tree and I thank them. Even seeing it now in March, I feel the sense of the warmth and joy associated with Christmas. I love looking through old photos. One can never tell what memories and emotions will be evoked.

I love this tree as well and wonder how they get the lights on what seems like every branch and twig. It is stunning! I'm glad it is lit for about 6 weeks.
