Erin and I enjoyed driving around OKC and then running through some of the neighborhoods around the University of Oklahoma campus. It was a medium sized race (with a strangely high number of elderly people it seemed...)We got some really nice long sleeve technical t-shirts and some random "stuff" in our goodie bags. Erin got socks. I didn't get any socks, but I got a plastic desktop pencil organizer. Hmmmm.
Thankfully the gym was open to us before the race because it was cold and windy! Later when I took a hot shower, my hands were in pain when the water would touch them. I didn't realize how cold they had gotten until then. Thankfully, after a hot cup of coffee, Erin and I were both feeling back to normal.
The race was a great way to start the day Saturday. We had fun talking, seeing the cheering by-standers, and getting some good exercise. After a quick stop back at the hotel, we were ready to explore more of the city...
We clean up pretty good.
Thank you, Erin, for running this 5K with me. And thank you for being a loving, supportive friend!

I love reading all of your stories. I loved every minute of our time together. IT was so relaxing and inspiring and I can't wait for another girl trip. I'm sad that there aren't more pictures from The Wedge. I agree it was some of the best food I've had!! Love me some spiced walnuts!!!!
