Baby Bargains

I've said before- I love a good deal! Today was my day to hit the jackpot on baby deals. These are the first items I have bought for baby number three, and buying for the baby for the first time is a special thing for me. I especially like to buy the going home outfit. I did not look for one on purpose today, but I had to go to Babies-R-Us to buy a booster seat for Nate. He has decided the high chair is beneath him. And there on a clearance rack practically calling my name was the most perfect going home outfit that I've often seen in my dreams but never in real life before. I've always wanted a solid cream outfit, and it is especially important this time because we aren't finding out the gender. There is no such thing as a solid baby outfit because they are usually plastered all over with animals, words, and other babyish things. But today I found a solid cream sleeper (with a small tastefully drawn brown bear face on each foot- that's ok) that also has a solid cream sweater- though there is a brown, very small lightly drawn outline of a bear face or something on the sweater. It is perfect!!! And, on clearance!!! Then, the next store I went to was practically giving things away because of a mega-clearance event. I got a cute first year calendar, and all our baby announcements for a grand total of $4.91. Woo-hoo!
