Out of the Mouths of Babes...
I just love it when Nate replies with a cheerful "Oh-Tay" instead of OK. Secretly I wish he'd never grow out of it, though I admit it would probably be less cute coming from the mouth of a 35 year old man. My favorite thing Ava used to say is "oh-pee-noh" instead of oatmeal. I just tested her now to see if she still says it, and I am sad to report she can now say "oatmeal" just like the rest of us. Her current mispronunciation is on the word "napkin." Somehow it comes out more like "naught-kin." And her favorite restaurant is "Dixie's" known to the rest of the world as Dickey's Barbeque. It's the little things that make me smile.

That's cute! The twins used to call oatmeal, "eetmo". I don't know which one started it first, but the other twin quickly caught on. And, I loved the way Samuel used to call Sydney, "Nee-Nee". He did that for a LONG time & we all thought it was so special!
Todd has a hard time with the TH sound. He says Wank you instead of thank you. I love the way it sounds but we are working on getting it the right way.
