Ava's Art

It's time once again for "Art of the Week" featuring the budding talents of Ava the 4 year old wonder-artist. I had a hard time choosing which pictures to share, so there will be three.
The first is a picture of the zoo. Notice the cage with bars on it, and also a chimney. These animals have quite luxurious living conditions. My favorite element of this picture though, is the amazing representation of a ticket window, with a person standing in front of it.


Now we have the brown bear. The green lines behind the bear represent the forest. The bear looks menacing, especially with all those claws on each paw. That is how Ava draws hands lately. A round circle with lots and lots of fingers. I think it's cute.


Finally, we have the sad face. Ava found a notepad with the letter "B" and cleverly turned it on its side and used the holes as eyes. She did that all on her own. She brought it to me and said it was a sad face. However, I think the face looks rather mad. In fact, the more I look at this, the more disturbed I become.
